SPEAKERS
Discover our panel of speakers for the 32nd ALPZA Congress:
The Latin American Association of Zoological Parks and Aquariums (ALPZA) is the leading organization in the region dedicated to biodiversity conservation through its members’ commitment to education, research, and animal welfare. Founded in 1990, ALPZA has promoted standards of excellence and fostered international cooperation, establishing itself as a reference in wildlife protection. Today, ALPZA continues to move forward with determination, strengthening the collaboration between zoos, aquariums, and rescue centers to build a more sustainable future for life on our planet.
We are a non-profit, 100% Colombian organization dedicated to the conservation of family, social well-being, nature, and culture. Our mission is to serve the community and promote the welfare of present and future generations. As a model of sustainable recreation and purposeful tourism, we offer spaces that foster a reconnection with nature. Our natural reserves and wetlands contribute to the ecological connectivity of the Bogotá River savanna. Additionally, we provide a peaceful environment to strengthen family bonds and encourage learning about history and culture.
